The ship was laid down in St. Petersburg on May 20, 1895. It was built according the project of the battleship “Admiral Ushakov” and became the third ship of that type. In 1905 it made a long passage from Libau to the Far East, where it was enlisted into the Second Pacific squadron, with which it took part in the Tsushima Battle. It was taken captive to Japan and later was used under the name “IJN Okinosima”. In 1939 it was scrapped.
The given model is an improved old version with some additions, which were made by Aleksandr Kustov. The main differences of this model are the following:
- general changing of the ship’s colouring and the colour correction;
- giving the wooden details more realistic colours and textures;
- performing of the bronze details with an appropriate paint.
